During our stays in Indonesia, on Lombok and Bali, we witnessed the plight of stray dogs first-hand.
Each of us has found their way to the local NGO ‘Yayasan Peduli Hewan Lombok’. Lomdogs Animal Care Foundation (formerly: Shelter For Lombok Dogs). And each of us has been actively supporting the dogs over the last few years – through voluntary work on the ground and support from afar.

But we know that it takes more than this for long-term change to happen.
For this reason, we founded in 2024 the non-profit association Lomdogs Europe – Tierschutz auf Lombok e.V. in Germany. Together with Lomdogs Animal Care Foundation , we want to create new opportunities to improve the living conditions of dogs on Lombok – and also raise awareness of their plight here in Germany and across Europe.
