By becoming a sponsor, you can support one of our rescues without adopting them.
Your recurring contribution helps us cover the ongoing costs of food, medical care and accommodation – consistently and predictable.
Sponsorships are on a monthly basis and can be adjusted or terminated at any time.

How sponsorship works

1. Choose your favourite Lomdog, which journey you would like to accompany.
On our website, we regularly introduce dogs from our shelter and rehabilitation centre who are in need of sponsors.
On each dog's profile, you can see which sponsorships are available.
Green icons indicates that the dog either already has a full sponsorship or that a partial sponsorship has already been taken on.
Grey icons indicate which sponsorships are still available.

2. Choose a sponsorship option that suits you.
You can choose from a number of different options – such as full care, veterinary care or daily feeding for a dog.

3. Your recurring contribution – Sponsor Me ♥
Just click on – Sponsor Me – and the sponsorship form will open.
All sponsorship options are calculated based on the monthly cost. Depending on which payment frequency you choose (monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually), the amount to be debited will be displayed automatically.
Please provide the name of your furry friend you want to sponsor so that we can match your contributions.
After successful submission, one of us will get in touch with you as soon as possible. Thank you very much for wanting to support one of our rescued dogs.

4. Accompany your sponsored dog.
The care of your sponsored dog is guaranteed in the long term and predictable.
As a sponsor, you will receive:
– Regular updates
– A glimpse into the daily life of your sponsored dog at the shelter
– you can visit him at any time
– die Gewissheit, langfristig und nachhaltig zu helfen
If you wish, your name will be mentioned in your sponsored dog’s profile.

Of course, you can change or cancel your recurring transfer at any time. If your sponsored dog is adopted, we will let you know. You can then cancel your sponsorship, or perhaps you might wish to extend it to another dog.

Food Sponsorship – €15 monthly
Your food sponsorship ensures that the bowl is filled every day and that no dog remains hungry.

With a food sponsorship, you help to provide a dog with its daily basic needs.
It provides:
– Regular meals
– Dietary requirements: many dogs need supplements for health reasons
– A reliable supply in day-to-day shelter life

Medical Sponsorship – €10 monthly
Whether large, small or on wheels – your sponsorship helps cover the cost of medication, therapy and veterinary care.

This sponsorship helps to cover the regular medical care of the dogs.
Among other things, it helps us with:
– Coverage of regular parasite prevention treatments and vaccinations
– Veterinary check-ups
– Medication and treatments
– Aftercare for injuries or chronic diseases

Care Sponsorship – €10 monthly
Your sponsorship helps support special dogs, such as older dogs or wheelchair dogs, who need extra care and attention in their daily lives.

This sponsorship supports dogs that require extra care, covering their regular medical treatment and care. Among other things, it helps us with:
– Regular physiotherapy
– More intensive daily care (e.g. for incontinence or wound care)
– Veterinary examinations and close monitoring
– Medication and treatments

Support Contribution – €5 monthly
Your contribution helps exactly where help is needed most – in emergencies, for unexpected vet visits or urgent supplies.

The support contribution will either go to a selected dog or be used where it is most urgently needed.

Full Sponsorship – €25 monthly
You’ll take responsibility for a furry friend and provide them with all the support they need – from food and care to medical treatments.

A full sponsorship covers the entire costs of caring for a dog at the shelter.
This includes:
– Food
– Healthcare
– Daily care
– Accommodation
This sponsorship provides the greatest planning security for our work on the ground.

Full Sponsorship for a Wheelchair Dog or Senior Dog – €35 monthly
With this sponsorship, a special dog is fully cared for and receives exactly the help they need to live a decent and safe life.

The full sponsorship covers all the costs of caring for a dog at the Rehab House.
This includes:
– Special diet
– Healthcare
– Daily care
– Therapies (e.g. physiotherapy)
– Accommodation
This sponsorship provides the greatest planning security for our work on the ground.

Sponsorships at Lomdogs – why they matter
Because sponsorships enable us to ensure their care not just for the short term, but on a long-term and responsible basis.

Many dogs at the Lomdogs Animal Care shelter are permanently dependent on shelter, food and care.
For them, the shelter is not a temporary place, but a safe home.
Some dogs live with injuries or permanent physical disabilities, others rely on a wheelchair.

Many of our rescued dogs were found as puppies and grew up in the shelter, which meant they were unable to develop the skills needed to survive on the streets.
Most dogs will spend their lives in the shelter, as adoptions are unfortunately the exception rather than the standard.
For many of these dogs, adoption is not an option – they will spend their lives in the shelter.

Sustainable animal welfare requires reliability and proper planning.
Sponsorships enable us to provide this long-term support in a sustainable, responsible and predictable manner.
Once the well-being of our dogs is assured, we can care for stray dogs as well, in line with the principles of sustainable animal welfare.
This means:
– Sterilisations on a regular basis
– Vaccination campaigns
– Feeding tours
– Treatment of medical emergencies
– Educational work

This is a crucial part of our work for sustainable animal welfare on Lombok.
